I use a Nikon D40
I have always been told to use natural light where possible, but, as the weather in Ireland is not the most reliable, and during the winter the days are dark, I do rely heavily on my SB-600 Shoe mount flash. The camera was purchased on a trip to Boston, and the flash on a trip to NYC from B&H Photovideo.
I took a course on developing photos (the old fashioned way) a couple of years back, but I must confess that I generally play around with the pictures until I get something I like.
